This Architectural team has steadily grown over the last 15 years, now with 4 studios across the UK and reputation for unique projects in challenging environments they are increasing headcount again with the addition of an Architectural Technologist at their Manchester City Centre studio.
You will be joining a talented Architectural Team who have proven track records within Heritage, Listed Buildings, Education, Public Building and Residential.
- Layout drawings, elevations, sections from surveys
- Schedule of works
- Detailed drawing for building regs and construction
- Planning applications
With at least 3 years experience working within a UK architectural practice, you will have a portfolio that demonstrates your detailing skills. You will have strong communication skills and be looking for a position that will present you with the opportunity to be client facing and having technical input at concept stage. The practice designs in Revit and AutoCAD.
You will be joining a creative practice that invests in the continued development of their staff and where there is a focus on designing sustainable buildings utilising new methodologies, varied and exciting projects !

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join an in-house design team. Why is it great ? They are a growing business, experienced design team, responsibility, fabulous working environment, involvement in decision making processes !
You will support New Build development schemes and Refurbishment / Change of Use projects, working across multiple projects at any give time. Projects have a fast turnaround so there is always something new to be working on.

About the role ?
In this role you will support the Principal Architect, working alongside a Senior Technologist and provide guidance to 2 junior technologists. Running projects from start to finish you will interact with clients, consultancies and contractors.
You will be proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit would be a bonus but not a necessity, more important is your ability to produce detailed drawings and to have technical input into the team. With ideally 4-7 years PQE and a level of experience within the Residential Sector, whether it be with your current employer or a previous employer.
