Are you struggling to have the varied experience required to complete your APC? If so, this role could be perfect opportunity for you!

A growing multi-disciplinary property consultancy has a requirement for an Assistant Building Surveying to join their team in Preston. The consultancy has grown rapidly over the past few years by ensuring a first-class service to clients across multiple sectors and by empowering their staff, ensuring they are giving the right support to excel in their careers. They work with a range of clients, from large multi-national commercial clients, residential developers to SMEs and one-off instructions. The workload is diverse, ranging from project & contract admin through to commercial instructions such as dilapidations & pre-acquisition surveys.

My client can give you fantastic support, structure and mentoring through your diary to become Chartered and beyond. Candidates who have joined the business at this level have progressed to Senior level, through their own determination & hard work along with the backing of the business.

About the Role?

The role will be based in Preston, with frequent travel involved within the position along with some overnight stays (this can vary, depending workload, but circa once a fortnight). The position requires some experience within the industry along with a RICS accredited degree. You will need to show good technical understanding along with strong communication, as you will be dealing with a number of stakeholders outside & inside the business. Whilst you will be giving support of the directors & senior staff members, you will need to show a degree of being able to work independently and prioritise your own workload accordingly.

In return, you will be working for a business that truly values their staff, offering flexible working, a good benefits package, and career development opportunities moving forward. If you are looking for a career and not just a job, then this is the position for you.
