Are you an ambitious Associate Transport Planner seeking a new challenge? I am working with one of the fastest growing engineering consultancies, who have a fantastic reputation, coupled with an enviable client base which spans both the public and private sectors. My client is looking to appoint an Associate Director to support the Manchester office and to grow the service across the North West and M62 corridor.
They are a business leading and award-winning consultancy that have decades of experience within the built environment. They offer a range of services including a specialist transport team working on some of the North West’s major city entre developments. They work with some of the UK’s most reputable developers in logistics and major UK housebuilders, they act as the trusted partner on major residential schemes (2000+ dwellings) as well as major North West city centre transport systems. The company have a strong track record of promoting internally, even at senior hires, from Director level to Business Partner & shareholder of the company, combined with excellent staff retention, due to the friendly, team environment which has remained, despite the rapid growth over the past few years. As a member of a successful Transport Planning division, you will be supported by an experienced Director who has a wealth of transport planning experience within consultancy.
You will typically work as part of a multi-disciplinary design team helping to identify the most appropriate transport solutions and strategies for any given situation.
As part of the growing Transport Planning business you can be expected to be involved in projects across a wide range of sectors including residential, office, education, energy, culture & leisure as well as master planning and large mixed-use schemes
The ideal Associate Director will have a background in consultancy and proven experience in leading a transport team. You will be proficient in the use of industry software including AutoCAD, TRICS/TRAVL, LINSIG, ARCADY, coupled with a knowledge of the planning system.
We are looking for an individual who is highly personable and who has the ability to lead and existing team and business develop.
