A fast-growing Building Surveying and Construction consultancy are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor with a background dilapidations.

In 20 years they’ve gone from start-up to a 50+ team of experts across the country. The firm offer a range of construction consultancy advice, including; building surveying, dilapidations, cost consultancy and energy & sustainability services across the automotive, defence, education, industrial & logistics, offices, residential and retail sectors.

About the Role

This role will have a strong focus on dilapidations – so experience within this area is essential to be considered. Ideally you’ll be chartered but if you’ve got the relevant experience it’s definitely worth applying.

Your duties will include;

  • Building inspections
  • Acquisition surveys
  • Dilapidations
  • Contract administration
  • Maintenance and refurbishment projects
  • Schedules of condition
  • Party wall
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Maintaining and developing existing client relationships
  • Developing new client relationships

The ability to generate new business and have strong negotiation skills as well as a track record in achieving fee targets is desirable.
