​This is a new, exciting position for an experienced Commercial Manager, who will work across a group of businesses, operating within the healthcare industry.

The successful candidate will be commercially astute, able to converse with stakeholders and directors, both internally and externally and above all, protect the interests of the Group at all times.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

  • Recognise, develop, review and implement the Company’s strategic objectives in terms of product & service delivery

  • Responsible for and management of Commercial Services Departments, ensuring accurate financial cost control, budgeting and forecasting

  • To take responsibility for the regular review of financial performance of projects across the Group in order to improve financial certainty and maximise commercial success of projects

  • To provide high quality management information to the board

  • Responsible for managing, negotiating and maintaining services of all suppliers and Subcontractors

  • Experience gained within a construction related organisation or technology business

  • A strong commercial awareness – you know how to make profit whilst maintaining strong client relationships, delivering quality and staying fully aligned to company values

  • A proactive, diligent and forward-thinking approach

  • Excellent communication skills – you're someone who can get your point across in a positive, honest and constructive way

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Strong Commercial acumen, used to reviewing and revising contractually binding agreements

  • Being able to remain impartial, unbiased, professional and retain a commercial attitude

  • Having a good analytical cost background and the ability to assess, analyse and evaluate the financial stability of Developments from financial reports

  • To have good management and motivation skills

  • Highly computer literate

  • Negotiation skills

  • Excellent design and technical understanding
