I am now recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a junior Court of Protection Solicitor to join an award-winning firm at their Liverpool City Centre office. The salary and benefits package are competitive and negotiable dependent on experience as you would expect at this well-respected firm. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday day off, pension scheme and health care policy.

The firm offers a multi-sectored service which includes Family, Employment, Residential Property, Clinical Negligence and Private Client. This firm has won many outstanding awards over the years including more recently best Large Law Firm in 2017.

The role

My client is looking for a junior Court of Protection Solicitor to join their Liverpool City Centre offices. The firm’s Court of Protection team includes experienced Solicitors who are a panel deputy of the Court of Protection Panel of Deputies.

As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you manage a varied caseload of matters. You will be dealing with vulnerable clients who are unable to make their own decisions either in relation to Property and Affairs or Health and Welfare. The types of clients you will act for will vary and will include children, brain injured adults, individuals with learning difficulties and older clients with various conditions which have affected their mental capacity.

Given the nature of this role you will have an empathetic approach to clients and is paramount that you consider the clients best interests at all times, particularly a person who is unable to communicate directly.

The candidate

Applications are invited from ambitious Newly Qualified Court of Protection Solicitors. You must have spent at least 6 months within a Court of Protection department during your Training Contract and, if already qualified you should be working within the area at present.

Apply now for immediate feedback. Contact Kingsley today for more Solicitor, Associate and Partner opportunities in the North West.
