GMCA recognises the need to increase and accelerate housing delivery across the city region. The GM Delivery team, along with the GM Land & Property and the Core Investment Team will seek to work with Local Authorities where available specialist support is requested.

You will develop close working relationships with CEOs, Directors, Heads of Service both within the GMCA, Homes England, Local Authorities, Partners and the wider development sector.

This is a key role in driving forward the Housing Growth across the GM region for years to come. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong and stable career to date within the housing development field. You will have strong management experience in mentoring, developing and driving forward a team to assist in or deliver new build housing, this is likely to come from a Housing Association, housebuilder or Local Authority.
