Development Delivery Manager
Basic to £55,000
Working in partnerships with Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Kingsley are looking to appoint a Delivery Manager to support the Delivery Director in the delivery of future housing needs across the GM region.
GMCA recognises the need to increase and accelerate housing delivery across the city region. The Delivery Manager will be part of a team to support delivery of Greater Manchester’s housing delivery objectives and priorities. Work undertaken by the Delivery team, headed by the Delivery Director, will be aligned where possible with Homes England to draw on their expertise and facilitate and enable better access for Local Authorities and partners to Hoes England programmes.
The Delivery team will have three critical objectives;
- To drive forward initiatives that support the GM Housing Strategy
- To create a strategic relationship with Homes England to influence national approaches to assessing housing investment and enable better access to programmes for GM partners and enable delivery of joint objectives
- To manage district support that will be provided from Evergreen surpluses.
You will develop close working relationships at all levels within external stakeholders including other Government depts, housebuilders, private developers, landowners, financiers, LEPs and National organisations such as Homes England, Environment Agency, Highways England, English Nature and English Heritage.
This is a key role in the team driving forward the Housing Growth across the GM region for years to come. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong and stable career to date within the housing development field. You will have strong management experience in mentoring, developing and driving forward a team to assist in or deliver new build housing, this is likely to come from a Housing Association, housebuilder or Local Authority.
