THE ROLE

The primary role will be that of a Director - Law of Property Act Receiver responsible for taking appointments with the firms existing LPA Receivers across the country, but with the main focus on business development in the sector in the London and South East Regions.

You will be proficient in undertaking Red Book valuations of all property asset classes and general property agency experience.

In addition, you shall also work alongside Asset Advisory colleagues on Restructuring and Insolvency cases which have property aspects.

DUTIES

  • Direct client liaison and development of existing and new business contacts

  • Taking LPA Receivership Appointments

  • Conduct site inspections

  • Prepare and co-ordinate preliminary and full valuation reports

  • Undertake sales by auction and private treaty

  • Assist with sale of properties and sales information packs

  • Carrying out negotiations with prospective purchasers and providing recommendations

  • Develop cross-selling opportunities within the organisation

SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • NARA Qualified LPA Receiver

  • Registered Valuer

  • Active network of client contacts

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills

  • Sound technical grasp of valuation

  • IT proficient including Excel

  • Self-motivated

  • Personable
