I am working with an award-winning law firm, who are looking for a Solicitor to join their Intellectual Property department at their offices in Liverpool.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you join the Intellectual Property team and work alongside the head of department who has been with the firm for many years and is trustee and chair on the board of three charities.

The role

My client is a Top 40 Law firm who offer a multi sectored service. They have many offices across the country andattract top calibre employees and clients alike.

The Intellectual Property team is highly regarded and acts for a range of clients including corporates, public bodies, third sector bodies and SMEs to individuals, on a range of intellectual property matters.

As an Intellectual Property Solicitor, your duties will involve the following: -

  • General intellectual property advice
  • Infringement opinions and litigation support 
  • Intellectual property due diligence and general corporate support
  • Intellectual property commercialisation strategies
  • Intellectual property audit reviews
  • Intellectual property contracts including licensing, sponsorship agreements, merchandising agreements, royalty agreements, and assignments
  • Commercial agreements
     

The candidate

You will be a Solicitor qualified to practice in England andWales with at least one years’ PQE. You will possess an excellent academic record and have a proven track record working as a Solicitor and dealing with a case load of Intellectual Property matters.
