Role: Legal Secretary (Personal Injury Dept)
Location: Warrington
Salary:  Negotiable dependant on experience + excellent benefits

We are currently looking for an ambitious, highly experienced Personal Injury Legal Secretary, who is able to work within a fast paced demanding and changeable environment. We have an excellent salary on offer to the right candidate


  • Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents, reports and court papers
  • Audio typing skills essential
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
  • Take, type and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Implement and maintain office systems
  • Organise diaries and make appointment
  • Handle incoming mail and other material as directed
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Collate information, Maintain databases
  • Communicate verbally and in writing responding to enquiries
  • Using office equipment such as faxes, photocopiers, binders etc

The Ideal Candidate will have

  • Experience working as a legal secretary within the Personal Injury field
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications (ideally Proclaim) spreadsheets, word processing and database management
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Be proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
  • Proven experience of producing legal and non legal documents and correspondence
  • Proven experience in information and communication management
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Time management and ability to work to deadlines
  •  Interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own and use initiative
  • Polite helpful manner
