This is a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Town Planning to be instrumental in the development of their Manchester city centre office and key leader in the business. Despite being a growing planning team in Manchester, apart of a wider international business they have some very impressive credentials; a top 20 leading employer of chartered town planners. As an innovative engineering firm they are involved in major UK and European projects apart of a global business. They are keen to continue their upward trend by appointing a new or Director of Planning to help lead and drive the business forward. You will be responsible for the management of a challenging workload, taking a key role in the future of the business development and further growth of the Planning team.
The ideal Director will have gained extensive and demonstrable planning experience as well as a track record of successfully managing a team; MRTPI membership is essential as you shall also play an active role in the development and mentoring of junior staff. You will be able to show evidence of your ability to win work and shall possess excellent communication skills. You will join a business that is recognised nationally with an array of enviable and established clients that provide a challenging and sustainable workload including residential, infrastructure, energy and commercial projects across the North West and wider UK. Whilst you shall be based in Manchester you will feel a part of the national planning team and wider business and will engage frequently with colleagues from across the UK on projects that reach far and wide across the country.
