I have been instructed by a fantastic and leading law firm in Manchester city centre for a new paralegal position.

The firm are very well known in the insurance industry to be one of the best in the UK. They have won an extensive list of awards over the years and they represent many of the top insurers.

The firm offers a long list of services to its clients which includes insurance, corporate, commercial, employment, private client, marine, construction and property, aviation plus many more.

The firm are proud of their talented experts and are now opening its door for a paralegal to join their property damage department.

The firm have an ambitious vision and are working towards becoming the leading risk and insurance firm in the UK by 2020. They also have visions of opening international offices.

You will handle a varied and interesting property damage caseload whilst working alongside experts in this field. You may also be required to assist a Partner on more complex technical matters. This is a good opportunity if you are looking to learn and develop your knowledge in this area and work closely with a Partner at a top firm.

The role will consist of handling a variety of different liability claims and subrogated recoveries. The caseload will involve infrastructure damage claims, building defect, flood and fire cases from a claimant and a defendant side. The role will involve acting on behalf of high profile insurer clients.

Knowledge of property damage claims/recoveries is desirable but not essential. The firm are happy to look at candidates who have worked in professional indemnity or personal injury background and have a keen interest in training into this growing area of property damage.

The firm offers a competitive salary along with an extensive list of additional benefits which includes some of the following: pension, annual and quarterly bonuses, salary sacrifice schemes, child care vouchers, social events, private health insurance, season ticket loans, retail vouchers, discounted gym membership. The firm also provides genuine and realistic career progression.
