This is a superb opportunity for an experienced MRICS Qualified Property Management Surveyor to join a national property consultancy in either their Bristol or Cardiff office.

The Role

You will take the lead on the property management of a mixed portfolio of properties in the South West and/or South Wales on behalf of fund, property company, developer and private clients.  This is a varied portfolio covering all asset classes and the role will involve working for a variety of clients who place utmost value on a customer-based approach to tenant engagement.

We are looking for a team player who can take complete ownership of the portfolio and also support the team leader in developing and mentoring the more junior team members. 

Responsibilities

The role will involve management of a mixed portfolio resolving day to day issues effectively, and communicating with clients, contractors and tenants on a regular basis. You will ensure an excellent service is always provided, and fully engage in client meetings as required. You will be required to identify asset management opportunities across the portfolio and seek to cross sell other opportunities within the business.

Working closely with the facilities managers in regard to multi-let assets, you will be assisting in the production of service charge budgets. You will also be involved in tenders and presentations with a view to gain an increased client base. As a key member of the team, you will support the Head of Department and continually strive to improve working practices and client service delivery for the whole team.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is highly organised and demonstrates ambition and commitment to self-development. You will have proven experience of property management, with a proven track record in the resolution of day to day management issues, demonstrating an awareness of market trends. You will present a professional image when dealing with clients and demonstrate a clear understanding of current and future client’s requirements. You will be required to make effective presentations to potential clients, both of technical and business matters and be computer literate, specifically in Microsoft office and TBS.

You will have to manage your own time and exercise good commercial judgement to maximise fee earning potential, and also have a track record with occupational, institutional and/or property company/developer clients.

Salary & Benefits
