A Public Law Solicitor is required for an excellent opportunity with an award-winning law firm at their offices in Liverpool City Centre. For this role you will be joining the Healthcare department. The Health team has won several awards and recognition for their work including more recently Legal Services Provider of the Year.

The role

As a Public Law Solicitor, you will be working directly in the firms Healthcare department. The team currently deal with a range of Public law & governance matters and this is therefore a great opportunity for you to be exposed to a variety of exceptional quality work.

As a Public Law Solicitor, you will manage a mixed caseload of matters within the firm’s Healthcare department. This may include a mixture of the following: powers and duties of public bodies, judicial review, compliance with Equality Act 2010 and Human Rights Act 1998 obligations, governance and constitutional issues including management of conflicts of interest, public involvement and consultation, application of general public law principles and public decision-making processes, general Data Protection Regulation, patient confidentiality and data sharing, Freedom of Information Act 2000 and data protection laws, primary care commissioning, contracting and regulation and Care Quality Commission powers and enforcement action.

You will be confident in liaising and advising high profile clients. In addition, you will be well organised, proactive and work well both individually and as part of a wider team.
