About the Company?

Due to an increase of exciting, new instructions, a medium-sized multi-disciplinary property consultancy has a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor to join their established team. The consultancy has established client-relationships in place, built upon years or trust and being able to deliver on complex & challenging schemes. The high-level of service given to their clients is also replicated internally, with fantastic individual support in place, you will be able to flourish in your career, whatever direction you would like to go in.

About the role?

You will be carrying out a diverse range of quantity surveying services to a number of clients across the build sector, both public & private sectors. You will offer expert advice on all commercial aspects of construction or property developments, including management of cost and contractual matters, ensuring the client objectives are being met, be it reducing risk or obtaining value.

Typically, the surveyor will be expected to carry out both Pre-Contract (Estimating, Cost Planning, Procurement Advice, Tender Document Preparation) & Post-Contract (Contract Administration, Interim Valuations, Cost Reporting, Final Accounts, Contract and dispute advice). On top of this, you might be acting as an Employer’s Agent or coordinating with other teams, such as Project Management.

Ideally, you will have started your APC diary. They have APC supervisors employed within the organisation, along with the variety of work, in order for you to achieve your MRICS. If you are already MRICS, they can put career plans in place to help you achieve the next goal in your career, whilst working on some prestigious developments/clients.
