Role Description:

We are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a national Residential Building Consultancy team. Based in London, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technical due diligence, professional services, and project management across various client groups including Affordable Housing, Specialist Care, Prime Central London, Build to Rent, and Student Sectors. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing Stock Condition Surveys, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork, and striving for excellence in all aspects of your work.

Responsibilities:

Conducting Stock Condition Surveys within the residential sector, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data. Providing technical due diligence services for residential properties, including assessments of building condition and compliance. Undertaking professional work such as building inspections, defect diagnosis, and preparing reports for clients. Managing projects from inception to completion, including contract administration and project monitoring. Collaborating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. Demonstrating a proactive and outward-looking approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices within the residential sector. Upholding the company's values and commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field. Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) preferred. Proven track record in conducting Stock Condition Surveys within the residential sector. Experience in delivering technical due diligence and professional services for residential properties. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork. A commitment to delivering excellence and exceeding client expectations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for building surveying and project management.
