Are you a senior Quantity Surveyor ready to shape a new chapter in your career? This is a new opportunity to lead and expand a cost management function within an established, multi-disciplinary consultancy—right at the heart of the South.
Our client is a national consultancy with a strong heritage and an entrepreneurial spirit. With continued growth across their UK offices, they are now looking to appoint a Director-level Quantity Surveyor to lead the cost management team in Winchester.
About the Role
You will be joining a thriving business, already delivering across residential, commercial, healthcare, education, leisure, and public sector schemes. With an enviable client base and a strong pipeline of work, this role provides a platform to build something special.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and growing the Winchester-based QS team
- Driving project delivery across both public and private sector clients
- Winning and developing new business opportunities
- Shaping the cost management service offering in line with wider business goals
- Mentoring and developing future talent within the business
This is a strategic leadership appointment, with clear influence at regional and national levels.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced Associate Director or Director with:
- MRICS accreditation
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role A strong consultancy background, ideally across both professional and employer’s agent services
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage clients, and win work
- Deep sector knowledge in at least two of the following: residential (including housing associations and developers), healthcare, education, commercial or leisure
- Experience with JCT Design & Build contracts and acting as Employer’s Agent
- A collaborative, strategic mindset with a passion for building lasting client relationships
