Estimator

An established and growing property and construction organisation in the North West is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. This is a key appointment as the business continues to secure a wide variety of projects across commercial, workplace, leisure, retail, and mixed-use environments.

Who we’re looking for

We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including:

• Commercial fit-out
• Refurbishment
• General contracting
• Capital projects
• Facilities / maintenance estimating

Fit-out experience is helpful but not essential.
If you have strong estimating skills and experience working in commercial environments, we’d love to speak with you.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates across a variety of project types
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and commercial documents
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and assess value
• Support pre-construction, project management, and design teams
• Contribute to commercial risk reviews, value engineering, and bid strategy
• Help improve estimating processes and systems

What you’ll bring

• Estimating experience within commercial construction, refurb, interiors, or aligned sectors
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
