About the Role

Not every Quantity Surveying role comes with the chance to help build something.

This one does.

We're working with an ambitious and rapidly growing consultancy in Shropshire that is making waves across the construction and infrastructure sectors. Still young enough to be entrepreneurial, but already delivering some truly exceptional, large-scale projects, this business is attracting attention for all the right reasons.

They are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to help shape the next phase of their growth.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in helping deliver and grow the Quantity Surveying function, working closely with senior leadership on a diverse portfolio of major projects across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading commissions from inception through to completion
  • Build and strengthen client relationships
  • Supporting business strategy and operational growth
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on commercial matters

About You

You will have:

  • A consultancy and/or contractor background
  • Strong pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • A proven ability to generate work and build relationships
  • Commercial awareness and a growth mindset
  • MRICS status (desirable but not essential)

Why This Role?

Because opportunities like this don't come along very often.

You'll join a business where decisions happen quickly, ideas are welcomed, and success is genuinely rewarded. You'll have the freedom to influence strategy, build a team around you, and work on projects that many larger consultancies would be proud to have on their books.

If you're excited by growth, motivated by opportunity, and want to be part of building something special rather than simply maintaining the status quo, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary: Commensurate with experience, with an attractive package and genuine long-term progression prospects.
