Role Summary

With offices throughout the UK, an established market-leading property consultancy is seeking a qualified Senior Surveyor or Associate to join its Residential Valuation and Strategic Advisory team, based in London.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a senior leader in a growing advisory practice, contributing to a wide range of complex and high-profile residential valuation instructions across London and the wider UK.

You will be involved in varied and technically challenging residential valuation and strategic advisory work, with a particular focus on:

  • Statutory leasehold enfranchisement valuations
  • Negotiation of residential lease extensions and freehold acquisitions
  • Advising a broad client base, including landlords, tenants, investors, and professional advisers

The position suits someone who combines strong technical accuracy with the ability to understand the commercial and strategic context of advice.

About You

  • You will be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and genuinely interested in the residential sector.
  • You’ll be confident working independently while collaborating within a high-performing team, and motivated to take on increasing responsibility over time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to produce clear, high-quality valuation reports.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • MRICS qualification
  • RICS Registered Valuer
  • Proven experience valuing residential property using a range of methodologies, including:
    • Comparable
    • Residual
    • Investment capitalisation
  • Strong report writing skills with excellent written English
  • Confident use of MS Excel, including financial modelling
  • Ability to manage multiple instructions and work under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience under leasehold enfranchisement legislation
  • Regular direct client contact and confidence developing professional relationships
