About the Role
Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for quality assurance and technical excellence? I'm currently working with a highly respected consultancy seeking to expand their team with a Senior or Experienced-Level Construction Inspector/Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team of building surveyors, project managers, façade engineers, and technicians, where your expertise will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards across diverse construction and remediation projects.
About the Role:
You’ll take the lead in inspecting and monitoring construction works to ensure compliance with contract conditions, design intent, specifications, and current legislation.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Conducting technical audits, site inspections, and due diligence reviews
- Monitoring cladding remediation and other high-profile projects
- Preparing high-quality project reports and resolving technical queries
- Supporting design reviews and contributing to wider project implementation
- Advising on construction detailing, materials, fire safety, and statutory compliance
- Acting as a key point of contact within multi-disciplinary project teams
What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- 5+ years' experience in a construction/engineering consultancy environment
- A degree in engineering, building surveying, or a related field
- Membership or associate membership of ICWCI or a relevant professional body
- Excellent technical knowledge across building regulations, CDM, and façade systems
- Strong IT skills (MS Office suite) and excellent written communication
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within dynamic project teams
- A full UK driving licence
