About the Role

Ready for your next career move? We’re working with a long-standing, highly respected surveying practice in Liverpool that’s expanding its in-house architectural team. As part of this exciting growth, they’re looking to welcome a talented Technical Architect to join a newly established team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering quality, detail-driven design.

If you have experience in the retail and/or industrial sectors and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to step up and make your mark.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Producing detailed technical drawings using Revit/BIM and AutoCAD
  • Measuring up on-site and taking a hands-on approach to building surveys and technical detailing
  • Managing BIM model integration and coordination across projects
  • Supporting the preparation of planning application submissions
  • Ensuring all designs meet UK Building Regulations
  • Working closely with surveyors, project managers, and external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Competent Revit user who is confident integrating with the wider team and managing BIM models
  • Someone technically capable but open to hands-on involvement, including site measurement and surveys — this may suit someone slightly less experienced but eager to grow
  • Solid knowledge of planning processes and building regulations
  • Sector experience in retail and/or industrial projects
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Why join this team?

  • Be part of an exciting new architectural function within an established, reputable firm
  • Work on high-profile projects for blue-chip clients
  • Access genuine career progression and development pathways
  • Thrive in a friendly, collaborative office environment in central Liverpool

Interested? We’d love to hear from you.
