We are looking to appoint a Project Manager to deliver a range of rail schemes across the North West region.
Roles and Responsibilities: Operating as a project interface manager on behalf of the asset owner to ensure the rail infrastructure is protected throughout any 3rd party delivered work Develop and deliver solutions for externally funded, high value, politically sensitive and multi-disciplinary projects (Levels of Control 2, 3 & 4) and where mandated, assure delivery in accordance with the GRIP lifecycle. Manage the seamless integration of all project risks affecting the operational railway. Acting as the single point of contact for Asset Protection related matters to external stakeholders Scope and price estimates up for Asset Protection services, and seeking agreement with external parties Person Requirements Previous demonstratable experience in Rail as an asset protection manager, or project manager. Previous demonstratable experience of delivering complex multidisciplinary schemes Knowledge of the operational railway and railway infrastructure Detailed understanding of GRIP stages, able to navigate internal Network Rail engineering approvals including internal stakeholders Strong understanding of CDM / health and safety Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills at all levels both internally & externally
