About the Role

A highly regarded, independent property consultancy in Preston is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director or Director level Building Surveyor to strengthen its well-established Building Consultancy team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified, commercially minded surveyor to make a real impact within a respected practice that’s growing steadily across the North West. You’ll enjoy a varied role, spanning professional instructions and project-led work, with a particular focus on development and refurbishment schemes across the property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a broad range of building surveying services including technical due diligence, dilapidations, defect diagnosis, and building pathology
  • Managing and overseeing project management and contract administration duties
  • Advising clients strategically across a variety of commercial assets
  • Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
  • Supporting business development and mentoring junior staff

Ideal Candidate:

  • MRICS qualified, with solid post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical expertise and commercial awareness
  • Proven background in managing refurbishment and development projects
  • Excellent client-handling and communication skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple assignments
