About the Role

The Opportunity

Our client is a successful and expanding national property consultancy offering a full range of professional property solutions from a network of offices throughout the UK.

This role will be an integral part of the successful and highly profitable Healthcare team, undertaking valuation workload as well as some lease consultancy. The role requires the successful candidate to deliver not only against their own targets for business, but also being a key team player, sharing best practice and supporting others in the team.

The role will build the client base and deliver against all Healthcare related needs.

Key Resonsibilities

  • To undertake healthcare valuation work and some elements of lease consultancy work
  • independently manage a significant number of existing and new instructions.
  • Quickly establish a consistent and high fee earning role.
  • Active in meetings (virtually, or in person) or contacting new and existing clients to develop the healthcare side of the business and assist in growing the department.
  • Contribute new ideas and innovation in relation to business development and growth.
  • Works effectively with clients
  • Respond to correspondence and tasks in a clear and timely manner
  • Able to work as part of a team with a view to team/income growth.
  • Engaged and effective team player, taking an active part in the healthcare team and the broader team
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in own skills and the processes of the team.
  • Maintaining and build a pipeline in accordance with target with assistance from wider team

Qualifications / Experience Knowledge

  • MRICS Chartered Surveyor with at least 1 year post qualification experience
  • Some Landlord and Tenant experience required, primarily in negotiations for rent review and lease renewal
  • Experience in Healthcare/GP premises/Care Homes or trading Valuations with some knowledge of dental and pharmacy markets preferable, but not essential
  • Registered valuer and full valuation experience of healthcare not essential but knowledge of valuation processes particularly investment method required
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
