About the Role

Make your mark on the future of education.

We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a deep understanding of the Department for Education (DfE) and a passion for delivering meaningful change in the education sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded Yorkshire-based team delivering transformative capital projects across schools, colleges, and universities.

With several exciting opportunities available — from Senior Project Manager through to Associate Director level — this is your chance to progress your career while shaping the future of the education estate.

Why join this firm?

  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education by delivering projects that enhance learning environments and student outcomes.
  • Progress your career with clear advancement opportunities, whether you’re an established Senior PM or ready to step up to Associate Director.
  • Work on diverse projects ranging from extensions and refurbishments to full new-build programmes — all within live, operational environments.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of education projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Supporting clients in developing robust business cases, masterplans, and asset strategies to drive value across their estates.
  • Navigating complex budgetary and stakeholder landscapes, helping education providers achieve efficiencies while meeting sustainability and climate change targets.
  • Overseeing projects in live operational environments, ensuring robust management of logistics, safety, and minimal disruption to students and staff.
  • Managing procurement and working closely with contractors with proven expertise in delivering complex projects safely and effectively.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience as a Construction Project Manager in the education sector, with excellent knowledge of DfE guidance, processes, and requirements.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex capital projects, ideally within schools, colleges, or universities.
  • A passion for delivering projects that leave a positive legacy for students, educators, and communities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and innovation.

The opportunity: Join a dynamic, forward-thinking team at the forefront of shaping education estates across the region. With salaries ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 plus benefits, there are outstanding prospects on offer for career growth and the chance to make a real difference.
