About the Role

Are you a Building Surveyor who enjoys a mix of project and professional work? Do you like working across multiple sectors?

We are working with a leading property consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior or Associate level Building Surveyor to join their established Birmingham team.

The Opportunity

You will be joining a collaborative and growing team, working across a broad mix of projects and professional instructions. The role offers a truly varied workload, spanning commercial, industrial, and selective public sector schemes. Clients include funds, investors, developers, and local authorities.

This position would suit a surveyor who enjoys variety, both in terms of sector exposure and the balance between project and professional work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of building surveying services, including project management, technical due diligence, contract administration, and professional surveys.
  • Work closely with private and public sector clients, providing high-quality advice and solutions.
  • Contribute to business development through building strong client relationships.
  • Support and mentor junior team members as required.

About You

  • MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience) with a strong background in building surveying.
  • Demonstrable experience across commercial and industrial sectors, with some exposure to public sector work advantageous.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic about delivering excellent service.
