We’re representing a leading property consultancy, known for their collaborative culture and diverse client base, who are seeking a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join their established Birmingham team.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role within a respected and growing team, delivering a broad range of instructions across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors. The workload is genuinely varied from project management and contract administration to technical due diligence and professional surveys.

Clients include funds, investors, developers, and local authorities, offering you a well-rounded and stimulating portfolio of work.

This is an ideal role for a surveyor who values diversity of work, client engagement, and autonomy within a supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver the full range of building surveying services, including project management, technical due diligence, contract administration, and surveys.
  • Work directly with private and public sector clients, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to ongoing business growth.
  • Support and mentor junior surveyors, helping shape the future of the team.

About You

  • MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Broad experience across commercial and industrial sectors; public sector exposure an advantage.
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • Organised, adaptable, and passionate about delivering quality work.
