About the Role

An independent construction consultancy company are currently seeking a Technical Director to lead a team based in Manchester. The firm have grown significantly over the past few years, their team of more than 20 consultants is committed to delivering an exceptional service to an enviable client base.

The Position

The Technical Director has responsibility for the North West region, with a high degree of influence and responsibility, to lead the team to deliver top quality performance across the business. This is a rewarding, yet challenging role, to drive growth and increase market presence within Manchester and the surrounding areas. 

The Technical Director will represent the business at a range of external stakeholder meetings, engaging with an extensive and diverse client base. The individual will be proactive in the development of the commercial strategy for the office, attracting new clients, as well as developing and maximizing existing relationships. 

The Candidate

You will be a Chartered Structural Engineer and possess a strong technical background. You will be involved in all aspects of the design process, overseeing projects from design to completion. Business Development capabilities are essential.

This role requires an individual who is well-known within the region, highly experienced in the delivery of Structural Engineering services, and is highly experienced in leading a team as well as having full profit & loss responsibility.
