About the Role

Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for quality assurance and technical excellence? I'm currently working with a highly respected consultancy seeking to expand their team with a Senior or Experienced-Level Construction Inspector/Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team of building surveyors, project managers, façade engineers, and technicians, where your expertise will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards across diverse construction and remediation projects.

About the Role:

You’ll take the lead in inspecting and monitoring construction works to ensure compliance with contract conditions, design intent, specifications, and current legislation.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Conducting technical audits, site inspections, and due diligence reviews
  • Monitoring cladding remediation and other high-profile projects
  • Preparing high-quality project reports and resolving technical queries
  • Supporting design reviews and contributing to wider project implementation
  • Advising on construction detailing, materials, fire safety, and statutory compliance
  • Acting as a key point of contact within multi-disciplinary project teams

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in a construction/engineering consultancy environment
  • A degree in engineering, building surveying, or a related field
  • Membership or associate membership of ICWCI or a relevant professional body
  • Excellent technical knowledge across building regulations, CDM, and façade systems
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office suite) and excellent written communication
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within dynamic project teams
  • A full UK driving licence
