About the Role

Are you a detail-driven construction professional with a passion for quality assurance and technical excellence? I'm currently working with a highly respected consultancy seeking to expand their team with a Senior or Experienced-Level Construction Inspector/Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, multidisciplinary team of building surveyors, project managers, façade engineers, and technicians, where your expertise will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards across diverse construction and remediation projects.

About the Role:

You’ll take the lead in inspecting and monitoring construction works to ensure compliance with contract conditions, design intent, specifications, and current legislation.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Conducting technical audits, site inspections, and due diligence reviews
Monitoring cladding remediation and other high-profile projects
Preparing high-quality project reports and resolving technical queries
Supporting design reviews and contributing to wider project implementation
Advising on construction detailing, materials, fire safety, and statutory compliance
Acting as a key point of contact within multi-disciplinary project teams

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should bring:

5+ years' experience in a construction/engineering consultancy environment
A degree in engineering, building surveying, or a related field
Membership or associate membership of ICWCI or a relevant professional body
Excellent technical knowledge across building regulations, CDM, and façade systems
Strong IT skills (MS Office suite) and excellent written communication
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within dynamic project teams
A full UK driving licence
