Position Overview:
As an Associate Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in the ongoing success of the London office. This role involves hands-on delivery of building surveying services with a focus on project work, leading projects that often require coordination with our in-house multi-discipline design services. Client management, development, team supervision, and technical reviews are integral components of this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on delivery of building surveying services with a bias towards project work.
- Lead projects, coordinating in-house multi-disciplinary design services.
- Client management and development.
- Supervise, manage, and mentor junior team members.
- Conduct technical reviews to ensure the quality of services.
Qualifications:
- MRICS qualification.
- Consultancy experience, preferably with public sector project exposure.
- Commercially minded with a passion for winning work and business development.
- Ability to manage your own workload effectively.
- Capable of managing individual team members, organizing their work, and providing guidance on projects.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Outstanding technical building surveying knowledge.
- Analytical mindset with high intellect for producing robust reports and recommendations.
