Position Overview:

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in the ongoing success of the London office. This role involves hands-on delivery of building surveying services with a focus on project work, leading projects that often require coordination with our in-house multi-discipline design services. Client management, development, team supervision, and technical reviews are integral components of this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on delivery of building surveying services with a bias towards project work.
  • Lead projects, coordinating in-house multi-disciplinary design services.
  • Client management and development.
  • Supervise, manage, and mentor junior team members.
  • Conduct technical reviews to ensure the quality of services.

Qualifications:

  • MRICS qualification.
  • Consultancy experience, preferably with public sector project exposure.
  • Commercially minded with a passion for winning work and business development.
  • Ability to manage your own workload effectively.
  • Capable of managing individual team members, organizing their work, and providing guidance on projects.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Outstanding technical building surveying knowledge.
  • Analytical mindset with high intellect for producing robust reports and recommendations.
