About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic team specialising in managing Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) capital replacement and refurbishment projects within a healthcare setting. Reporting directly to the Estates Managers, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of project management to ensure successful project delivery while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of M&E capital replacement and refurbishment projects. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations. Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize disruptions and maintain project progress. Uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout all project phases. Monitor project expenditures and resources allocation to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain accurate project documentation and generate regular reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Professional qualification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred. Proven experience in managing M&E capital replacement and refurbishment projects, particularly within healthcare settings. Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems in highly serviced buildings. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing healthcare facility construction and renovation projects. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
