The Client & Opportunity:

 Our client is well respected national firm of Chartered Surveyors which holds a national network of offices and provides comprehensive Rating advice throughout the UK with offices based in London, Manchester, Newcastle Upon Tyne, York, Belfast and Cardiff.

 An MRICS Qualified Rating Surveyor is required to fill a new role in our clients’ York office based on the following overview:

  • Seeking to develop a successful and progressive career in Rating
  • Specialist Valuation – Receipts and Expenditure & Contractors
  • Property types – Airports, Airfields, Anaerobic Digestion Plants, Solar, Wind Turbines, Battery Storage and other specialist category property
  • Valuation Office Agency background preferred, but not essential

Experience of infrastructure type properties such as energy, airports and ports. The ability to provide clear rating advice to ratepayers. Experience of working in a team; you are a team player. Good communication, organisation and negotiation skills. Ambition and looking to develop a successful reputation within a leading Rating Consultancy

Our client’s primary focus is on Niche Sectors and their current rating team consists of experienced specialists in the R&E & Contractors based valuation models.  They are seeking to add to this Specialist team with an individual of a similar background and experience, advising clients occupying landmark properties across the UK and Ireland.

 The role is to progress instructions already held by the business and to work in conjunction with the business development team to develop the business further and expand their dominance within selected sectors.

 Salary and Benefits

  • Up to £50k - Salary will be based on professional experience and qualifications.
