  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Develop plans for scheduled maintenance to ensure the long-term integrity and functionality of buildings.
  • Building Reinstatement Cost Assessments: Undertake assessments to estimate the cost of reinstating a building to its original condition, often for insurance purposes.
  • Portfolio Coordination: Assist in coordinating portfolio instructions and collaborate with various internal departments to provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong business relationships with both external and internal clients, offering professional and excellent client service.
  • Travel and Business Development: Be open to travel as required by the role and engage in business development activities, including direct client interaction at a senior level.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Team Player and Initiative: Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, demonstrating enthusiasm, proactivity, and self-motivation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing, and the ability to maintain excellent client interactions.
  • Time Management and Organization: Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Presentation and Professionalism: Well-presented with excellent presentation skills, reflecting a professional and client-focused demeanor.
  • Qualifications: MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) with a specialisation in building surveying, along with proven experience, preferably with post-qualification experience (PQE) in a commercial consultancy.
  • Technical Competence: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in AutoCAD considered an advantage.
