  • Deliver a broad range of professional building surveying services, with particular focus on dilapidations, party wall, and building pathology
  • Oversee project work and insurance remediation schemes from inception to completion where required
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor business plans to support growth, profitability, and client development
  • Take an active role in business development and networking to secure new opportunities and strengthen the firm’s market presence
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage team members, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous development
  • Ensure the highest technical, professional, and compliance standards across all outputs

About You

We are seeking a forward-thinking surveyor who combines strong technical capability with commercial acumen and proven leadership potential.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • MRICS qualified, with a strong consultancy background
  • Extensive experience in professional services (dilapidations, party wall, building surveys)
  • Exposure to project delivery and insurance-related work
  • Demonstrable track record in business development, with established client relationships
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a rigorous approach to quality and detail
  • Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire others
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and client-focused mindset
