About the Role

An established and highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking to appoint a Director of Project Management to play a pivotal role in its continued North West growth strategy.

With a strong UK presence and an impressive track record of sustained expansion, this firm delivers high-quality construction consultancy services across multiple build sectors. The Manchester office is performing strongly, and this appointment forms part of a planned strategic growth phase, not a replacement.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity with a clear pathway toward future equity participation.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will take responsibility for:

  • Driving new business generation across the North West
  • Developing and strengthening key client relationships
  • Leading and growing the Project Management team
  • Delivering high-value projects from inception to completion
  • Contributing to regional strategy and financial performance

You will join a highly successful team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers working predominantly across the North West build sectors (excluding power and infrastructure).

About You

We are seeking a commercially astute and inspiring leader who can demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of winning and delivering profitable work
  • Strong existing client relationships across Yorkshire and the wider North West
  • Director-level experience within a UK construction consultancy
  • Exceptional project delivery across multiple build sectors
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting and team performance
  • High-level communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A strategic mindset with the ambition to influence regional growth

Essential

  • MRICS (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • UK consultancy background
  • Experience across build sectors (non-infrastructure)
  • Demonstrable network of contacts across Yorkshire

Why This Role?

  • Leadership position within a high-performing regional team
  • Strong existing client base with scope for expansion
  • Realistic and structured pathway to equity
  • Supportive senior leadership and long-term succession planning
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

This is an opportunity for a Director who wants more than just project delivery,  it’s for someone who wants influence, growth and a platform to shape a regional business.
