About the Role

Executive Director – Construction, Development & Real Estate Advisory, EMEA

London | Total Compensation c£450k–£600k+

A rare opportunity has arisen to lead and shape one of the most significant Construction, Development & Real Estate Advisory businesses across EMEA.

This executive-level appointment will suit a highly commercial leader with a unique blend of real estate consultancy, development, investment, and capital markets exposure. The successful individual will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening market position, and building deeper relationships with major occupiers, investors, developers, and corporate clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This is not a traditional leadership role.

The organisation is seeking an individual with the credibility, gravitas, and executive presence to engage confidently with C-suite executives, board members, investors, and capital partners. You will be viewed as a strategic adviser and trusted business partner, capable of representing the business at the highest level while helping clients navigate complex real estate and development challenges.

The Opportunity

Leading a substantial regional business, you will be responsible for setting and delivering the strategic vision across Construction, Development & Real Estate Advisory services throughout EMEA.

You will work closely with regional and country leadership teams, helping to drive growth across development advisory, project and development services, capital projects, cost management, and broader real estate consulting solutions.

Success in the role will require a balance of commercial leadership, market insight, client relationship management, and operational excellence.

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience gained within a leading real estate consultancy, institutional investor, developer, or investment platform
  • A combination of Project & Development Services and development/investment experience
  • Demonstrable experience operating at executive and board level
  • Strong track record of developing strategic relationships with investors, developers, occupiers, and corporate clients
  • Experience leading large-scale multidisciplinary teams of 1500 + across multiple countries
  • Full P&L responsibility for a substantial business unit, in excess of £180m
  • Strong understanding of real estate development, investment strategy, capital deployment, and project delivery
  • International leadership experience, ideally across France & Germany

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring far more than technical delivery expertise.

You will possess the commercial acumen and executive presence to sit alongside senior country leaders and C-suite stakeholders as an equal strategic partner. You will be comfortable advising on complex real estate decisions, unlocking growth opportunities, and influencing major investment and development programmes.

You are likely to have built your career within a major real estate consultancy, developer, investor, or advisory business, combining operational leadership with a strong market profile and client network.

Most importantly, you will be recognised as a leader who can inspire large teams, drive business performance, and represent a global brand with credibility and confidence at the highest level.

The Reward

This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a market-leading EMEA business with significant scale, influence, and growth potential.

You will have the platform to shape strategy, influence key client relationships, drive transformational growth, and leave a lasting mark on one of the world's leading real estate advisory organisations.

Strictly confidential enquiries are welcomed, discretion assured.
