The Rights of Light sector has always been an important piece of the development cycle, however, as our cities become denser, our buildings taller and planning permission more difficult now is the ideal time to join this growing sector.

The Assistant Surveyor shall join a business that has earned a superb reputation for undertaking a high-profile and challenging array of work across London and the UK. The ROL Surveyor will become an integral member of the team assisting with the preparation of undertaking site visits including some of the most prestigious developments across London and the wider UK, reviewing planning applications and supporting policy documents, liaising with Local Authorities and assisting in the examination of documents to ensure the project continues as planned.

The rights of Light Surveyor will have plenty of opportunities for progression with the potential for the role to include increased responsibility for project management, the delivery of strategic advice to clients and responsibility to prepare necessary reports. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a passion for Real Estate and challenging work to begin their career within the world of property.

The ideal ROL Surveyor will have either a Planning or Property related degree and have gained voluntary of paid work experience within the sectors. Strong communication and IT skills are required as you shall be responsible for liaising with colleagues internally and clients externally via verbal advice and written documentation. Our client understands that as this is an entry level position that training is of high importance, as such, the ROL Surveyor will receive plenty of support and training immediately upon joining.
