As an established construction contractor, we are working with our client to recruit an experienced Commercial Manager.
The company has been established for over 40 years, and has experienced significant growth over the past 8 years.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading a division of one of the group companies, which will see you work closely with the management team across all areas of the business. Previous experience gained within a contracting organisation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
You will be help create, drive and deliver the commercial strategy, identifying new opportunities and target markets. You will lead and develop an existing team, coaching both current employees and new hires as the team expands.
Client satisfaction, retention and growth is key to the role, you will therefore nurture and create new opportunities for expansion.

Experience gained within waterproofing or concrete repairs would be advantageous.
Qualifications needed;
A degree in a science or engineering discipline, Post-graduate qualifications in business management or similar would be advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge & Experience
Extensive, proven track record operating at a senior level, ideally within the concrete industry or waterproofing.
Ability to business develop
Previous experience in an estimating role would be beneficial
Strong working knowledge of construction contracts and managing risk

Extensive business and leadership skills, building & managing teams
Ability to develop and refine processes and procedures
