The Opportunity
An experienced Retail / Shopping Centre Asset Management Surveyor (Associate level) is required to join a highly respected property consultancy, in its' Birmingham office.
The Retail team is responsible for the management of leading retail / shopping centres throughout the UK and this particular role is to take a lead on all property management activity and continue the excellent working partnership with the onsite FM teams, finance teams and other business lines, providing exceptional service and delivery of the clients’ portfolio.

Key Skills/Knowledge:
RICS qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years' post qualification relevant work experience
Excellent commercial acumen
Ability to build strong and effective relationships with the client, team, occupiers and other stakeholders
Able to actively lead on marketing strategy and implementation
Apply the principles of service charge management
Understand and apply the principles of lease structure
Experience of tenant applications for consent and the processes to be followed
Industry / internal specific IT applications
Delegation, supervision and development of junior team members
Co-ordinate and manage tasks across internal & external teams
Knowledge of retail legislation and other current issues
Understand and implement the clients' investment objectives
Build & maintain relationships with other parts of the wider company service lines incl. cross-selling
