About the Role

We’re partnering with a leading UK construction consultancy to appoint a Director of Project Management to join their Nottingham office. With an established team already delivering across major programmes in the industrial, defence, manufacturing, and local authority sectors, this appointment is part of a broader growth strategy for the East Midlands region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior professional to take a leading role within a well-respected consultancy—bringing their own relationships, ideas, and commercial insight to help shape the next chapter.

The Opportunity

You’ll join an experienced leadership team and play a critical role in:

  • Leading the delivery of complex, multi-sector projects across the region
  • Growing the Project Management offer, both in capability and reach
  • Strengthening relationships with existing key clients
  • Developing new business opportunities and supporting regional strategic growth
  • Mentoring and developing junior and mid-level talent

This role will suit someone who is highly visible and well-regarded within the local market, with the confidence and credibility to operate at Director level.

Your Background

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong track record of Project Management within a consultancy environment
  • Brings established client relationships and a clear network across the East Midlands
  • Has experience in sectors such as manufacturing, defence, local authority, or industrial
  • Demonstrates leadership, commercial awareness, and business development capabilities Is currently working at Associate or Director level and looking for a role with influence and long-term opportunity
  • MRICS, MAPM or other relevant chartership is welcomed but not essential.
