This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Associate Director with experience of - and a real passion for – managing a regional building surveying team, based across Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Joining the Scottish team, you can be based in either the Glasgow or Edinburgh office, you will possess a wide range of valuable management skills and experience, both technically and commercially. You will be expected to support and grow the existing team. This is a client facing role and you will be expected to manage an operational business from a P+L perspective, as well as developing new clients and leveraging relationships from existing contacts within the business.
You will report to the National Head Building Consultancy and be responsible for leading, driving and growing an established building surveying business in the Scottish region.
You will also develop a business plan for the team including exploring key business development opportunities and be a proven ‘work winner’.
A proven or aspiring business leader, you will be qualified to degree level, with RICS membership and relevant industry experience.
You will be experienced in successfully running substantial projects from inception to completion, with the ability to write fee and project bids and perform effectively at tender interviews.
You will have recognised management experience, the ability to manage other professionals and assistants and to collaborate and influence other team members and clients. You will be expected to travel between the two offices.
