Working as a Building Inspector for a specialist construction insurance company, you will carry out site inspections and assess risk management in relation to sites provided with warranties by the firm.
You will ideally be based in or around the Leeds area, and will service the Yorkshire region. As the successful candidate for this role, you will;
- Carry out inspections of residential dwellings, that are either new build or conversions, working closely with builders and developers, providing technical advice and guidance
- Carry out completion assessments once projects are finalised
- Communicate effectively with the team, maintaining professional standards at all times.
You will plan your own work schedule and must therefore be highly organised and diligent. You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of Building Regulations, as well as possessing an understanding of insurance principals and terminology.
You will be able to assess the causes of defects on site and use your own initiative.
The successful candidate will be either a part or full member of any of the following: TechRICS / ACIOB / CABE / LICWCI
