About the Role
The Opportunity
Kingsley is working with a well-established UK retail business that is looking to appoint an experienced Property Acquisitions Manager to join its growing acquisitions team.
This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to directly influence portfolio growth and play a key part in an ambitious UK expansion strategy.
The acquisitions team is responsible for securing retail premises for two nationally recognised high-street brands, with a combined estate of close to 600 stores across UK high streets and shopping centres.
With a clear target to add 50+ new stores per year, this role offers real scale, pace, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full acquisition lifecycle, from site identification and appraisal through to lease completion
- Identifying and progressing new store opportunities aligned with the wider portfolio strategy
- Presenting acquisition proposals and business cases for approval
- Working closely with internal stakeholders including Finance, Retail Operations and HR to ensure successful store openings
- Collaborating with senior leadership to support expansion and diversification opportunities
- Driving targeted portfolio acquisitions in line with growth objectives
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial property, acquisitions or transactions role
- Strong track record negotiating agreements for lease, leases and occupational specifications
- Confident communicator, able to influence and engage at all levels
- Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset
- Comfortable working at pace, managing deadlines and adapting to change
